My goal is to move reports I created which are currently under My Reports to a shared view.

Via the Eclipse client, I have tried to:

1) Create a new folder. I don't get any error msgs yet I don't see the new folder.
2) Move the report to via right-clicking on the report and selecting "Move To". Again, I don't get an error yet the report doesn't move in the Eclipse client. If I look at the report in the web UI, it has disappeared from My Reports and it does not appear anywhere I've specified in the "Move To".

Thoughts?

Which version of RTC are you using?
I just tried to reproduce your scenario in RTC 3.0 without any trouble.

Yes, looks like a permission issue. You'll need to add the team permissions "Reports -> Manage Report Folder" and "Reports -> Deploy Report" to whichever role looks appropriate for you. You can do this in the project area editor, in the process configuration tab. Expand Team Configuration > Permissions and select the role to modify.
