I spent my career building IDEs and creating productivity tools in the Automotive industry. End of 2006 i saw Jazz platform and RTC client to fulfill the vision of the SCM, Issue Management, Work Items, Builds, Process and Code integration. The more we played with it, the more it was evident that this would be helpful for many corporates that tackle the integration problems. This is everyday issue and they spend countless number of hours every year doing the things they are not supposed to and making the things work in round about way.

This was the motivation for me and my co-author to put together a book on the generic software development problems and how they are treated with Rational Team Concert and Jazz Platform.

During the book writing i have posted many many questions on this forum. Thank you everyone who helped me resolve issues and move forward quickly. I would love to get your feedback on this book so i am aware of the next version improvements.
