SVN Dump file import confusion

I've imported a couple times but not getting exactly what I'm looking for. We have a simple svn repository:
Project
branches
branch 1
Prj 1
Prj 2
File 1
File 2
branch 2
tags
tag 1
tag 2
trunk
Prj 1
Prj 2
File 1
File 2
I've imported the trunk and its my top level folder. So when I load the workspace I see a trunk folder. Expanding the trunk folder will show the projects along with 3 extra files. Its these files I'm having trouble with. Previously when I imported a branch the source control would show file 1 & 2 but they didn't show up in my workspace. When I imported the trunk it allowed me to select trunk but with the branches it only lets me select the individual projects in the branch. This unfortunately will skip the 3 files at the root of the branch.
What I've done so far:
Created a workspace
Imported the trunk from a svn dump file.
Created a new workspace which contains:
the trunk component baseline with the same branch name.
an empty component for the branch
No matter what I select on the Projects Path dialog box it won't let me select the top level branch folder like it did for the trunk. My previous attempts the importer noticed it was a branch but the workspace didn't have file 1, file 2 inside. I'm afraid to import more code until I know it will be setup the way it looks in SVN since I can't permanently delete code.
I've read the wiki SCMImport page but I guess its not clearing up what I need to do.
Thanks for any help!

I don't see what the Project Paths dialog does. I selected the "Import the paths specified below as top level folders in the target component" and then put the branch name I want to import. However when I get to the "Choose SVN Folders to import" I can only select "branches" and not the actual branch folder. If I click Finish then I get a message that RTC only supports importing of one branch. I just can't seem to get the top level folder of the branch to be the branch name no matter what I do.
The only way I can import just the branch is to select "Import the child folders of the selected SVN folder as top level folders in the target jazz component." at the "Choose SVN folders to Import" dialog. This certainly isn't what I want. Which brings me back to I don't see any difference what I select in the "Project Paths" dialog.
This is kind of frustrating, I've created several projects/components to get this to import correctly. Now my database is cluttered with dead projects that I can only archive and not purge.
