Hours burndown drops for today's data

We have a burndown report which looks correct until it gets to today's
data, and then the planned and remaining lines drop significantly, but
not to zero. For example, Planned Hours goes from 14,000 hours to
4,000, and Remaining goes from 8,000 to 1,500.
I thought the issue was work items moved between iterations, etc etc,
but that's not it.
If I run the report the next day, the previous day's data point appears
as it should. The dropoff moves to the right in the chart each day.
We're running RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix 1 on the server. The report template has
recently been upgraded on the server from RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix 1 (with the
Expected Complete line).
See the attachments for how the data for a day is wrong one day, and OK
the next.
