RTC Snapshot - Accept incoming

Hello,

I would like to know what is the reason and sense for accepting a snapshot into a repository that I have delibvered from.

Scenario:
Deliver changesets form repo.
Creating a snapshot on stream.
Result: need to accept new snapshot.

It might be a technical reason (as "foundation baseline" in ClearCase).

Thanks,

Yaron

Hello,

After the deliver operation I create a new snapshot on stream.
Right afterwards I have an incoming snapshot that I need to accept.

What is the reason?
I do not accept any new changeset because this repository delivered the changesets.

Thanks,

Yaron

All this means is that you do not have the latest baselines as your basis ... you have all the change sets but your change history structure differs slightly. By accepting the baselines, you will harmonize your histories with the reset of your team, but you will not gain any new changes.

Hope this helps,

What do you mean by accepting a snapshot? It is not possible to accept a snapshot. A snapshot is supposed to be an unchangeable container representing the state of a workspace at the time of snapshot creation.
