I've checked on RTC 3.0 the possibility to set an attribute read-only from the Process Configuration section of eclipse client.
Is there the possibility to set the attribute read-only in a different mode for different workflow states?
If yes, how can I do it?

This functionality is not yet available, but tracked in

Try the link again (the jazz.net web site was for part of the weekend
for maintenance).

The functionality is not yet available. The referenced work item
(137976) is scheduled for the next RTC 3.5 milestone (M4).

I read through the referenced work item. It has a reference to yet another work item:

Implement JS Rule support

Will either of these provide the ability to change an attributes requiredness from optional to mandatory? I have a customer that wants to be able to make an attribute mandatory based on the state and/or role of the user.

I also noticed that the release targets for these are different:

137976 - 3.5 M5
100191 - 3.0.1 M14

These seem like almost the same functionality...shouldn't they be aligned with the same release?
