Error while login/logon to RTC through Visual studio client

I am getting following error when I try to login to RTC server from VS 2008 client

Failed to log in to "RTC server URL"
Unexpected character "60" : line 1, column 1

I can login to same RTC server using web client. The URL I am using is "https://company.co.in/ccm/web/MyProject/"

Note: the company represent our domain name. The URL is using default port and is not mentioned in URL.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Try "https://company.co.in/ccm" as the url. The other url is the web specific url for the project.
Once you login you would have to "Manage Connected Project Areas" on the Repository Connection and then pick "MyProject"
