RQM integration with Rational Insight
I am following the instructions found in the following link
http://jazz.net/library/article/431/ however, when i following the instructions in 2.1 "step 1" i hit an error for the XML Data Configuration when i open Rational Insight tooling. The error is as follows: CRRRE1622E: Mapping table ProjectMap:The resource group mapping contains an empty target XDC file. Also 2.1 "step 4" is not very clear. Firstly, i'm not sure about what RQM URL to point to, an example will be great as to the port its easy to figure out. I will think the URL will be https://<hostname>:<port>/jts/qm but then again i could be wrong, as the default in the panel is a lot longer and contains extra parameters. Finally, I will like to also confirm that the documentation i am using is the right documentation for the integration between RQM and RI. Thank you very much. |

I can't help on the first part regarding the XML Data Configuration.
However with respect to 2.1 step 4: The full URL does need to be used as shown, but with the hostname and port adjusted to your installation. However the final argument 'Quality+Manager' needs to be equivalent to your RQM Project Name, so if you wish to report on a project called 'Mount Everest' you'd have 'Mount+Everest' at then end of the URL. Once you've done this, the appropriate service(s) can be invoked. |
