RDM setup and Links

Hi,

I need to change the config of our RRC Server. I tried using /rdm/setup (we are changing the hostname of the server). When I am in the second part of RDM setup (after jazz setup), there are two buttons : "Configure" and "Rebuild".

The problem is that when I click on these buttons, the links pointing to RTC and RQM friend servers are simply erased. The description between the button tells that "Existing data will be preserved". Is there a bug or something like that with the rdm setup ?

If I don't use these buttons, the RRC's artifacts are not reachable and if I use them, I loose data.

Thanks,
Sylvain

Hi,

I was preparing for a workshop on CLM and was trying to install RRC 2.0.0.3. All went well till the stage when I tried to click on the Configure button and nothing seems to running. My environment is Windows XP SP3 and Firefox browser 3.5.5. Any idea how to go about it?

I have changed hostname (i.e. not localhost) and the hostname is registered in the hosts file. I have also changed the server.xml file to change the ports (9080, 9443, 9005 and 9009) so that I could host RTC, RQM and RRC in the same machine. RTC and RQM are working fine.

Regards,

Never had this problem.

Does the hosts file have been changed in the server and client machines ?

Did you disable the popup blocker in Firefox ?

I have same issues where configure button will not light up. tomcat starts up fine with ports change. I have tried IE and Firefox and made localhost and 127.0.0.1 as trusted sites and still cannot get the configure button to work. After restarting tomcat and going back to step 1 none of the buttons are highlighted.
