Thanks for the links. 2nd link you pointed says " For Obtaining the URLs for projects section in the IBM Rational Insight DOORS RIF Export Service Installation and Configuration Guide "

Is this an additional component that need to be installed ?. or Is it part of DOORS Server / Rational Insight / Insight Data Service installation ?

Im not sure about the location of the guide that is referred to - hopefully Lawrence can help.

However, within DOORS you can right click on a project and copy its URL.
I suspect that this is the means by which you can obtain the URLs.

I am trying to integrate Rational Insight with DOORS.
but having the same "DOORS URL" problem.

When i try to create a new data service connection.
Rational Insight Configuration Manager asks for a URL .
I copied DOORS project URL e.g; " doors://192.168.2.10:36677/?version=2&prodXXXXXXXXXX

but Rational Insight issues an error "Invalid URL".

Now i do not know "Which URL is needed here and how to get it" ?

Also I'm unable to find mentioned guide " IBM Rational Insight DOORS RIF Export Service Installation and Configuration Guide "


One more thing : Its ben written on IBM website that " If you plan to use IBM Rational DOORS as a data source, make sure you have installed and configured the Rational Insight DOORS RIF Export Service"

Well i'm using 9.3 version of DOORS and latest 1.0.1 for Insight.Do i still need to configure Rational Insight DOORS RIF Export Service? If yes from where i can download it , because am unable to find any such download link.
