Distributed source code management setting turned off

How do I manage to have the "Distributed source code management setting turned off", as explained on this page in footnote 2:
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/3.0?p=featured
in order to have up to 50 users in a 60 days trial licence of RTC 3.0?
Thanks
Marco

Hi Marco - are you trying to get 50 users for a 60 day trial, or test the Developer for Workgroups capability (that kind of license).
Remember that Derby only supports a maximum of 10 Developers - regardless of the license settings.

How do I manage to have the "Distributed source code management setting turned off", as explained on this page in footnote 2:I believe the default setting for distributed is off. In order to turn it on, you'd have to enable the server flag and set the permissions on the project area roles to allow distributed. Unless you configured those settings, you'll be fine with the defaults.

Actually the use will be something in between testing and real use. I want the trial licence for real use and if it works I can get people here to get me a licence. In the past we experienced a lot of trouble with installations, so I am forced to do it this way.
Actually we used DB2, is there something special to configure to get the Developer for Workgroups trail licence?

Marco,
the trial licenses that ship with the install should work.
You need to enable the distributed SCM in the Server administration pages (Advanced).
You can't install the 10 Free or the Developer for Workgroups users because that will not allow to use the distributed SCM see https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/3.0.

Hi
OK - so you have DB2 so the Derby user limit will not be a problem.
The Developer for Workgroups license is only needed if you plan to use that particular license setup - which is a slightly more limited license for Developers (max number of users and the cross-repository connection seems to be the major difference)
To get 50 users - I was expecting to go in to the JTS admin pages, and under License Key Management/Client Access Licenses/Edit and alter the numbers. I can't do that on my setup - but then I have a Derby database.
Anyone else know how to change the number of users to 50 for a trial license?

Hi Anthony,
I don't get it. If you install a trial with the licenses shipped and on Derby for JTS AND CCM you should not have a limit on the licenses.
What am I missing?
