When you installed RTC - you should run Setup. By default, this asks you to create a new admin user and *disables* the old admin user (called ADMIN - all upper case). Perhaps you created another admin user.

Also the default admin user is ADMIN with password ADMIN - check you are entering it with all upper-case.

If neither of those ideas help - please tell us what version of RTC you are using and what platform.

I tried it, but I'm having the same problem. Going to https://localhost:9943/jazz/setup just asked me to put the ID and password. I cannot create a new admin user.
On the other hand. The uppercase is not the problem. I put it correctly. Some idea?

OK - so the good news is it sounds like your jazz server is installed and it is running (otherwise you would not get a login screen).

What version of RTC are you trying to install, what browser (eg: IE7) are you using, and what operating system?

Also - when you started the server, there should be a DOS command prompt window called Tomcat (assuming you are using Tomcat as your app server), and there should be no errors reported in that window.
