Work Items - move between Project Areas

Hi all

I have a Project Area that effectively is a 'bucket' where floating contributors can enter work items for various project enhancements. Our idea is to then triage each of these items and drop them into the appropriate Project Area.

I don't want to manage this via Teams, as the users shouldn't need to know about the individual projects. All they do is 'post' a request into a generic bucket, and we will forward the request towards the appropriate area. Currently, moving items across Project Areas doesn't seem possible.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You can use the "move" operation on a work item to move it to another
project area, as long as it is another project area in the same repository.

Thanks - just to point out this only appears as an Icon in the Web Console, doesn't appear possible from the Eclipse Client.

Is it possible to move a work item to project area in a different CCM (repository) in RTC 4.X?  By the way, you can move a work item in the Eclipse client by selecting the drop down next to the work item number.
