RTC 2.x to RTC 3.0 RC1 migration

Following note on https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/CLM30MigrationSteps to migrate from RTC 2.x to RTC 3.0 RC1, everything works correctly except these commands:

repotools-jts.bat -clean -migration_registerApplication teamserver.properties=conf/jts/teamserver.properties fromApplicationPropertiesFile=rtcApplication.properties toRegisteredApplicationPropertiesFile=rtc-registeredApp.properties

repotools-jazz.bat -clean -migration_importApplicationData teamserver.properties=conf/jazz/teamserver.properties fromMappingFile=rtc-mapping.txt fromRegisteredApplicationPropertiesFile=rtc-registeredApp.properties

as -migration_registerApplication and -migration_importApplicationData are unknown options/commands

Hi Paolo!

I'm having a similar problem. I found this page which seems to be a little more current for RTC 2.x to 3.0RC1 migration: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RTCtoCCM30MigrationSteps.

This page states that you need a build based on Jazz Foundation build RJF-I20101019-1700 for the specified repotools options to work. Unfortunately, the 3.0RC1 build is based on RJF-I20101008-1431.

I think the newer build should solve our problems, but I'm not sure how to get it...

I found the RC2 candidate build, which will probably have the updates to RJF that we need for the 2.x to 3.0 migration. You should be able to download the web install build that you need from here:

The page that Jim references is the correct one and that's why it was listed on the 3.0 RC1 Release Notes. The RC2 build will be published on jazz.net later today (Tuesday).

Is there possible to download RTC 3.0 RC2 full local installation? As I noticed, there is only web install available to download.

The "All Downloads" page (https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/milestones/3.0RC2?p=allDownloads) has the full Installation Manager Repositories for local installs.
Plain ZIP server installations are no longer available except on the z/i platforms.
