How can I automatically set the Filed Against using a URL

I have a link on a web page that will create a work item of a specific type (Defect, Task, etc.) but can't figure out how to set the Filed Against to a specific category - or if it's possible.

I am also wondering how to do this. If not possible, ok, I will add some more instructions, if possible please let us know how. Thanks
