Import questions for 3.x RC0 beta? or 3.(?) final.

Hello,

We need some answers for the following internal questions:
Will we be able to import from word documents?
Will we be able to import/migrate from ReqPro to this 3.x requirements final solution?
Will we be able to import/migrate from DOORS to this 3.x requirements final solution?

There are plans for reqpro migration to 3.x, my understanding is that this will be available initially in one of the next Beta release candidates.

What I'd also like to know is if there will we be somehting to import/migrate from RRC 2.0 to 3.x RM solution?

For the RRC 3.0 release we are working to provide capabilities to import and parse Word documents as well as capabilities for CSV. CSV will provide a basic migration medium for transfering DOORS data if you have projects that require you to share between the databases. In future releases DOORS and RRC will be more aligned to share requirements data directly from a JFS server.

We also intend to provide a ReqPro migration facility as part of the RRC 3.0 release (and should provide it earlier as part of the next RRC beta.
