Installing RTC into Domino Designer / Expeditor

I am trying to install RTC into Domino Designer,
Is there an update site for RTC that I can drop into Domino Designer?

The RTC installer does have an option to extend an existing Eclipse workbench, but it does not recognize our Notes installation as an Eclipse IDE

Thanks and Regards,
Ishfak

Hi

You need to do some quick checks before you can install into another product shell. Check you are running an Eclipse version that matches the ones supported by RTC. You may also need to install some other Eclipse packages inside Domino Designer before you can install RTC.

For example, if your Eclipse version is 3.5 - try looking at this:

Note that the RTC client does not run inside a Rich Client Platform shell.

Be aware that the dxl to notes roundtrip does not fully work yet (as far as I know) so while using jazz version control for the dxl files works fine - the nfs files can not be created fully from the dxl.

(just in case this is what you are trying to do :-) )
