Unable to Archive a Project

I archived a project (removed all the users first) When I logged out and came back into the application, I still see the old archived project in the drop down even though the new project I created is the one loaded. If I click on the old one, it becomes unarchived. The instructions said that once a project is archived, it cannot be unarchived.

Are you trying to archive the default project area ("Quality Manager")? If yes, this is by design. You cannot archive the default project area.

Yes that's what I did. But when I clicked archive, it did get moved to the archived link. I came back in and did not receive a pop up for which project to select. Then if I select Quality Manager in the drop down I start getting the pop up again. Probably people should just get a message that they're not able to archive because it's not clear you're not supposed to do that.
