Need help fixing project area admin / permissions

Bryan Hunt (4463213) | asked Mar 26 '08, 12:43 p.m.
I unchecked the Save Project Area permission from the default role not
realizing that there are no users lised in the Admin section of the
project area. Now, I can't modify the project area. Is ther any way
to fix this?

Yes. Users in the "JazzAdmins" repository group (and also users flagged
as Administrators in the project area) have special permissions to get
out of this situation.

If you edit only the process specification as one of these admin users,
you should be able to save the project area despite the fact that you
don't have process permissions to do so. When this happens, you should
see a warning about "Administrative Override" in the Team Advisor.

If this doesn't work for you, please follow up with a defect (I'd set
the severity to Critical). Be sure to mention which build of Jazz you're
using.

I got admin override working after restarting the server and I can now
save the project area. Thanks.

I have a similar problem.

I'm logged as administrator, that is in JazzAdmin repository group, but I can't Generate Team Invitation in Project Team Area.
The Team Advisor says me Permissions Denied.

I've tried to become the administartor of both Project Area and Team Area (and the system says me Administrative Override), but anyway I can't generate team invitation.

Problem solved.
After some changes in the administartor account I need to restart server and database.

Thanks anyway.
