Localisation of RTC OOTB reports

Is it possible to change things like the date format in reports so they are correct for the local the report is running in. For example, in the area I live the standard date format is dd/mm/yy (or similar).

However the date format in reports is "mm/dd/yy", the US format, which can be confusing where I am located.

Note, I have correctly set my local associated with my RTC User ID, but this seems to be ignored by the reporting engine.
