Has anyone installed m2eclipse to RTC Client?

Enrique Gaona (13462426) | asked Sep 08 '10, 9:41 a.m.
I've trying to install the m2eclipse plugin to my RTC Client 2.0.0.2, but I'm running into issues where the m2eclipse Core Update Site, http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e is not being recognized as a repository. So ... is this doable in RTC or not? If not, what are the best options available to developers? Any future support for this plugin?

If there's a how-to guide, that would make my life a lot easier.

Thanks.

Enrique

Hi Enrique,
There are many forum postings with successful integrations between RTC and m2eclipse plugin.

If you are using this plugin to integrate with Maven, we already support this via the build tool kit.
I believe the correct update site should be: http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/ as per the documentation on how to install (http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/installing-m2eclipse.html)

You need to change the update site from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/
to http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/0.10.2.20100623-1649/
or http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/0.10.0.20100209-0800/
As there are two different directories for plugins (different versions of Maven).

However, because this is an eclipse plugin issue, we do not directly support this.
