Custom Fields in Work Items
Hi, I searched for these questions but didn't see an answer.
1. Is there a way to limit the length of a custom String field?
2. I added a custom enumeration type field. When I create a new Work Item I see the field fine. However if I edit an existing Work Item the field is disabled (greyed out). Is that expected?

For #2, I've had a similar experience and I believe that you need to "sync the attributes" ... see the support item:
