How are plan progress story points calculated?

We have a Release Plan in the Eclipse client in the Iterations view.
One of the folders has a progress bar which reports the progress as
141/141 pts.

When I add up the stories in that iteration's folder in the plan I get
166/166 pts.

Is there a description of how the plan story points progress bars are
calculated? I haven't seen anything in the planning articles in the
jazz.net library, including the one on load and progress bars.
