RTCz Workspace deleted with pending changes
7 answers
Use Search -> Jazz Source Control -> Change Sets to retrieve those
pending change sets, and accept them into a new workspace.

Good morning
By mistake I deleted a workspace that had pending changes, and now
allows me to continue to work, because they have been left without
making these changes is not possible to do so because the workspace
does not exist. How I can fix this problem?
Geoff thank you very much, but our problem is not having lost that hand, that was the reason to remove this workspace, but has remained pending change, RTCz can not be solved, and neither do we want it resolved. We need to remove this condition (pending changes) by blocking any subsequent changes. Do You understand our problem? Thanks a lot!
Silvia,
Are you saying that you deleted a workspace but pending changes for the
workspace are still visible in the Pending Changes view? If so, you
could unload the workspace from the view using the Unload action
available in the context menu of the workspace.

Yes, but if i make Unload, the message is:
Problems occured running unloading repository workspaces.

OK, I now understand what you are asking (:-).
As I recall, there was a bug (such as you describe) when unloading a
deleted workspace in RTC-2.0.
I have verified that this works fine in 3.0 ... i.e. you can unload a
deleted workspace without any trouble. What I don't know is if there is
some 2.0 fixpack that fixes this, or whether there is some workaround,
other than just deleting that Eclipse workspace (which certainly will
fix the problem ... the pending changes view is configured in the local
data associated with the Eclipse workspace.

But .... no solution? We can't continue working? We can't take the mark of pending changes in any table?

If that is the case then here are some things you could possibly do:
1) Start with a fresh Eclipse workspace. This would work for sure but
obviously isn't helpful if you have stuff in your workspace that you
want to keep.
2) Ignore the Pending Changes view entry for the deleted workspace. If
you want to keep the projects that are associated with the workspace,
you can perform a Team>Disconnect from the Packages Explorer on all the
projects from that workspace.
3) You could turn off auto-login for your repository in the Properties
dialog of the repository connection. Then you could restart and Pending
Changes view should show you the connected workspace with an indication
that you are offline. You could then try and unload the workspace and
the unload should happen without contacting the server.
Hope this helps,
Michael
