I know each user can customize notifications they receive based on their relationship to a work item (creator, owner, modifier, subscriber). What I want to know if there is any way to notify a specific user (perhaps from a custom attribute) upon some work item action? I don't see a way to do this currently in the GUI. I suspect this might be possible through a custom extension. Is anything planned for 3.0?
