How to I upgrade from 0.6M5? Do I need to take special care?

What's the N&N of the "a" in M5a?

Inquiring minds want to know -

If I have already migrated to m5, should I make the switch to m5a? If so
why?

Is a database created against m5 compatible with m5a?

It includes some bug fixes which we discovered in our self-hosting.

If you previously installed your 0.6M5 client using the IBM Installation
Manager (the installer download) you can update to M5a by starting the
installation manager and using the 'Update Packages' feature.

This information can be found in the note linked at the top of the
downloads page for M5a.

We made lot of improvements to the LDAP configuration. It might be useful
for you to move to M5a server and use a M5a client to connect to it. You
don't need to do a repository migration to move from M5 to M5a.
