Are milestones upgradeable to next M and at GA (Beta?)
We have a customer participating in the CLM Beta. They plan to use RTC 3.0 Beta software to develop some components but have the following questions on Upgrade Path:
1. If we install RTC 3.0 Milestone 6 (M6)will we be able to upgrade M6 to the release planned for the managed Beta in Mid-July (M7)? 2. When we are done with the Beta will we be able to upgrade our 3.0 Beta install to the General Release of 3.0? 3. If upgrade is not supported what are the steps to export and import RTC artifacts? :?: |

Upgrading from milestone to milestone and from beta to beta and from the last beta to GA are all supported. In fact this is the self-hosting upgrade path that the development team follows. We are currently running M6 on jazz.net then we release M7 we'll move to that and so forth.

Is there an installation document that explains the steps in the upgrade process for 3.x Beta?

There will be when Beta 1 is release. Each milestone always includes information in the release notes about upgrading from the previous milestone. In the case of Beta 1 the release notes will also include information about upgrading from 2.x.
