In report studio, how to construct a tree view of RQM assets

FU YONG (4672) | asked Jun 23 '10, 1:49 a.m.
Hi,

I have attempted to use "Tree Prompt" control to generate a tree view of some related RQM assets, but I didn't manage to do it.

For example, an execution work item has a set of execution results associated with it. The desired tree view should appear to be similar to the following text illustration:

Execution Work Item 1
----Execution Result 1
----Execution Result 2
----Execution Result 3
Execution Work Item 2
----Execution Result 1
----Execution Result 2
...
Execution Work Item n

I am not sure whether this can be achieved after some exploration. That would be even nicer if the tree view is able to be generalized to include all related RQM assets.

Thanks for any potential helper. :D

I am not sure whether this is related to the issue of "relational" and "dimensional"?

It feels like the RQM ODS is organized in a relational way, or is there another way to construct a dimensional view of RQM ODS?
