How do I Change default chart type for a plan type?

Kim Soederhamn (1.5k34348) | asked Jun 10 '10, 5:55 a.m.
Hey All,

The default chart on an iteration plan is a burndown chart showing the current sprint and the hours.

For a release plan the default chart is ALSO a burndown chart but it would be much more handy if it was a release burndown chart showing remaining function points.

How can I change this default type?

 SOLVED!

In your project, navigate to (Reports-Report Templates) Right click the report you want to be the default on the Charts tab and select "Set as Default Plan Chart"

The closest I found was work item 109427 (which requested this functionality in a comment). I added the text of that comment into the Summary and Description, so this would be a reasonably work item to add a comment indicating your interest/support in this enhancement.

Cheers,
Geoff
