Hi,
Has anyone come across a way to use Jazz/RTC as a SCM from within Hudson? We use hudson extensively here and we have other source control systems in place (E.g. Perforce) Hudson can poll Perforce for changes and trigger builds. Is there a way to replace perforce with the RTC/Jazz SCM inside Hudson. We are not interested in triggering builds from within RTC, just using Hudson like we do now but replacing Perforce SCM with RTC/Jazz SCM. Cheers, Jas |

It was a screw-up on my part. The .bat version is now added to SVN. Please take a look at this and if you have time, submit any .sh file which you guys might create to get things working. It should be a very simple edit (but I've not an environment at the moment available to test it) Cheers, Andrew |
I noticed that Andrew's plug-in supports RTC 2.0.0.2. Are there any plans to support RTC 3.0.1?

I noticed that Andrew's plug-in supports RTC 2.0.0.2. Are there any plans to support RTC 3.0.1? I've developed a new Jenkins plugin, based on scm comand line interface, that allow Jenkins to use RTC's SCM for Continuous Integration, and works with RTC 3.0.1. Probably it also works with Hudson, but I didn't have time to test it. Anyway, if anyone is interested in giving it a try: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Rational+Team+Concert+Plugin. Right now the plugin does not return the build result back to RTC, but it will be the next feature to be implemented. Any feedback and/or sugestions are welcome. |
