Hi,
We are currently using HUDSON for managing the build activity and SVN as the SCM. Can we entirely replace these 2 tools with RTC's SCM & Build management features?

Please share any useful links on RTC's Build mgmt capabilities.

Your quick response will be appreciated.

Best Regards
Guru

Depends on what you use HUDSON for.

RTC can provide the SCM just like SVN and a lot better (if you ask me) RTC's build capabilities are closely integrated and can kick of builds on various agents(machines) and integrate with stings like Maven or HUDSON. However it is not a full blown build tool that can run automatic picks of engines based on specific test requirements or do forks and joins in reusable build tasks like for instance Buildforge can. But you get some nice features from the close integration with the rest of rtc like automatic documentation : which stories or defects was in the build, log from the build, snapshot of the files etc.

Also 4.0 will include a Hudson integration, so you could use Hudson with RTC to keep the Hudson capabilities that may not be in the RTC Build component.
