RTC client user comment timestamp 10 hours ahead of timezone
RTC client users comment timestamp is 10 hours ahead of the users time zone.
The user made a comment on a work item this morning (May 5) at 9:49 AM. The timestamp is May 5, 2010, 7:49 PM. User time setting is America/Eastern. The RAC team verified that the time is correct on the server. *User changed the time zone on web client User Management, Work Environment tab to America/New York (also Eastern). Closed the RTC client. Opened the RTC client. Created a new comment. Timestamp is 10 hours ahead of the actual time. A second user with a 1-hour RTC client discrepancy did the above steps* and their client time zone was corrected. The first user tried the above steps* again, changing the time zone to America/Cambridge Bay (also Eastern). New comment had timestamp 10 hours ahead of the actual time Setting the time zone for the RTC client is unpredictable in its results. User comments have a time zone that is not correct. |
