RQM Requirements?

Eike Meyer (612211) | asked May 06 '10, 4:42 a.m.
I have seen the requirements for RQM on http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3580&uid=swg27015932

However, it isn't quite clear to me what is meant by the RQM Requirements for Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and Enterprise editions x86-64:
Application server support limited to the bundled version of Tomcat and WAS 7.0.0.7. Database support limited to the bundled version of Derby, DB2 9.7, and SQL Server 2008.

Since RQM also supports DB2 9.1, can I use this as a database when it is installed on another server and only the application server resides on Windows 2008?
