Query to retrieve defects that have been reopened

You cannot (to my knowledge) refer to previous states of a defect in a
query, but you can write a report to do so, based on the information
stored in the data warehouse (updated normally once a day).

Hi! Is it possible to create a query to retrieve all the defects that
have been reopened? I mean .. not just the ones that currently have
the status in Reopened but also the ones that are now closed but were
reopened. Thanks
Thanks!
Could you please give me any advice on this?
Which are the parameters I can select to create this report?

@Geoff
We are also interested in a query for reopened defects.
Could you please elaborate on how to create such a report?

we specifically created this state in our workflow to insure it was possible. and easily using the time in state report data.
I think without the specific state, that you will have some complex calculations to do.

Thank you Sam for this information. Do you know in which version of RTC was the "Time In State Report" added? Can this report be imported into RTC 3.0.1 - if it is not readily available?
- Thank you
this report is in RRDI or Rational Insight. RRDI is free.
many of the reports require additional data that is not present in the RTC database.
this time in state report is one of those. the time in state values are calculated as part of the RRDI ETL jobs that run on schedule (daily by default).

Jul 11 '13, 9:56 p.m.It seems like there is a legitimate need for this report (defects that have been reopened at least once in their history) . Has this report been created or is it available for import. If it is not generally available - what needs to be done to make it available?
