Running RQM (SQL Server) as a Windows service on a 64-bit PC

We are running a POC and have hit some problems when trying to achieve the above result.

We have replaced the 32-bit version of Tomcat, however, we still have a problem. We are also using SQL Server 5 instead of the Derby database.
This may be where the problem lies. We have found this technote: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21385197

Are there still an issues here with RQM - SQL Server integration running on 64-bit databases?

Regards,
Loyde

The current release of RQM (2.0.1) does support 64-bit versions of SQL Server 2005 SP2 and 2008. See the supported databases section of the Detailed System Requirements for Rational Quality Manager 2.0.x document.

Do you also see the problem when invoking RQM via the standard batch file method (i.e. running as a process)?

Can you elaborate on what problem(s) you are seeing?

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for your response, this has clarified the technote question.
We only have a problem running this as a service - running as a process works fine? I think this probably needs more detailed analysis of our environment ie log files etc. I will get this escalated with support...

Bye the way, we are using RQM Express Edition. Don't know if this would have any bearing on the above?

We're running into the same issue. Was there ever a resolution to this problem?
