Hi,
We could help few of our teams in importing TestCases created in HP QC into RQM. Next when it comes to Functional Testing they use HP QTP for developing scripts. As we use RQM they wanted to run the tests via RQM. Integration with RQM is completed and when we ran a sample test script via RQM it returned the below error and warning message indicating the Test Case as failed. Analyzing the error the test team complains that in QC they could associate the library files, object libraries and data files required for QTP Script execution. Question is - ? In RQM do we have that option for attaching the supporting files. |

Hi annop,
from the log, "openXML.Cfg" mentioned in the error, does it mean the you are using Excel/Word Importer?, if so, would you please attach the MSO2RQM_debug.log?

Hi,
While working with the testing team ( who have been working on QC and QTP since long time) now looking for an option to shift to RQM replacing QC. The team find it difficult to locate the object repository option available in QC, the same in RQM. Attached is the screen shot from QC Here the library files and Object Repository has already been defined and it is accessible between QC and QTP. The Test Team is eager to know how this works in RQM ? |
Hi,
I have received an update to this from one of the RQM development lead, John Nason And your question is how to access graphical scripting, ala "Object Repository", in QM? You realize Object Repository is specific to HP, right? You could still run QTP scripts from RQM, but you can not author automated HP scripts directly in the RQM web UI. |
