Story Points by Iteration report doesn't show any data

Dmitry Bisikalo (1665) | asked Apr 08 '10, 10:29 a.m.
Hello,

we have an issue with "Story Points by Iteration" report. Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a Release plan.
2) Assign stories with story points in each iteration.
3) Go to the charts tab of the plan.
4) Open the Story points by Iteration report.

We expected the report to display the story data, but it comes back empty.

Is there anything else should be enabled/configured to see Story Points by Iteration report?

Please make sure that in your project area (process specification), your complexity attribute is set to story points and your story work item type is set as a top level work item type.

The report works on the Data Mart (/ DW if available/configured) and Data Collection Jobs needs to Run for the Mart / DW to be populated.  The Jobs can be run from the Admin Page under Reports Menu of the Application.

Another popular item migh be having no team area or not having set all the required information in the work items. There are several reports that require a team area and won't work with just a project area. You can see missing data if you can not select anything in one of the report parameters. So if you miss all, you run the DW job, if you miss some, trie to look at your work items if they have such info.
