Can I update from RTC 32 bits to RTC 64 bits ?

 Hello,

we have installed RTC CCM 6.0.3 in 32 bit version. We have problems in the dialog with WebSphere which is 64 bits, and it seems like the solution is to update RTC to 64 bits.
My question is whether it is possible to update the actual installation of RTC from 32 bits to 64 bits (without losing the data which has been created up to now) or if it is needed a total re-installation and loss of data.
Right now the question is pretty basic, I do not know how to express it better.
Bruno

You want to do a backup: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/BackupCLM

I don't think you need to loose any data. If you do a backup you can install the 64 bit version and restore the configuration data. This is basically the way I would proceed.  You also want to make sure your backup works for later.
