RTC and RQM Integration Issues

Thomas Dunnigan (13114126) | asked Apr 07 '10, 4:50 p.m.
We have "succesfully" integrated RTC with RQM.

However, when I look in the log file for the RQM server, I see the following ERRORS:

07 Apr 2010 16:24:58,399 ERROR com.ibm.rqm.defects.service - class com.ibm.rqm.defects.service.internal.ChangeRequestCollector:runTask AQXCM5001E An error was encountered trying to connect to a remote server: CRJAZ1247I The request to the server failed. The server returned the http error 500 with error text "Internal Server Error". Examine any further details here or look in the server log files for more information on how to resolve the issue..

When I look at log files for both rtc and RQm I see no evidence of the 500 error.

After running for just over a day with this error consistently occuring WAS7.x goes belly up with an IOException "Too Many Open Files".
I have updated the limit for open files from 1024 to 4096. But this will take a few day to see

The versions are RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix1 and RQM 2.0.1 Both in a two tiered configuration in RHEL 5.x 64 bit.

It should be noted that we can create the defects from RQM isnto RTC. Can you advise how to correct the error in the log file?

Hello,
You are seeing the last remnants of a known leak. The one piece you are missing is RTC 2.0.0.2iFix02, which should be out very shortly.
Hope this helps.

Is there any time frame when this iFix will be propagated to RPC 1.0.0.1?
