No buffer space available errors in jazz.log
Hi,
Has anyone else encountered the following messages in their jazz.log file for their RQM server?
===
Jul 30, 2010 8:09:26 AM org.apache.catalina.realm.JNDIRealm authenticate
SEVERE: Exception performing authentication
javax.naming.CommunicationException: localhost:389
===
Errors like this appear before it:
===
08:01:20,710 ERROR com.ibm.rqm.defects.service - class com.ibm.rqm.defects.service.internal.ChangeRequestCollector:runTask AQXCM5001E An error was encountered trying to connect to a remote server: {0}.
===
Users could not log in and a reboot of the server resolved the issue/errors. I am just wondering how the errors came about in the first place. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
- Walter

Walter,
Do you run across any 'too many open files' errors ? That seems to plague RQM.

John is right. I opened up the Work Item below and Frank Mcgrath was very helpful with the resolution of it. The iFix3 for RQM v2.0.1 appears to have fixed the issue we were seeing. There was a side issue associated with this regarding disabled "ADMIN" accounts and that will be addressed here by our IT Network Services group.
