Can you the change top level root RTC folder?
Hi all,
Is it possible to change the top level "root" RTC folder? That is, can I change the top level folder for the components in my workspaces?
If I have C:\RTC_1\component1 can I change that to C:\RTC\component1? There are other components under that root folder (i.e., component2, component3, etc...). I know that changing the top level folder will affect them also, which is OK.
I know that you can change the names of workspaces "on the fly" without any ill effects.
Thanks,
-Walter

If you unload the components from your Eclipse workspace, and then use
the Advanced option for the "Load" operation or the "Load As" operation,
you can load the component in whatever directory you want (the parent
directory of that folder will become an RTC "sandbox".

Geoff,
Thanks. This will work for us. I figured this would be the best way to do something like that. It makes sense to do it this way.
