Hi,

Long time back when I downloaded a copy of RQM 2.0.1 from Jazz.net and when tried to install RQM it gave an option to choose RTC compoonent.

Is this required to be installed ? Any suggestions.

You can manage most administrative tasks through the Web interface. However, there are a few tasks that require the IBM Rational Team Concert client that is installed with Rational Quality Manager.

Long time back when I downloaded a copy of RQM 2.0.1 from Jazz.net
FYI the GA build of 2.0.1 was released on 19/March/2010. If you downloaded "long time back" I guessing you downloaded one of the milestone builds. In such case I recommend instead downloading the final version here: https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/2.0.1
