Please let me know how to fix the problem, and what is the reason i am getting the above errors.

Cheers,
Jay.

Did you really create the Project Area with no spaces ?

If not try running this command:
install_samples.bat /a Quality+Manager+Sample /s https://localhost:9443/ /u ADMIN /p ADMIN

This is valid if you have created a Project Area named "Quality Manager Sample"

Jay,

A couple of things I would suggest trying. I had problems installing this data too but eventually managed it:

1) Ensure you follow the Note in step 3 - i.e. make sure you log into RQM as the admin user and select the QualityManagerSample project. Your view should then be of the admin's dashboard for this project. You need this before running the install_samples.bat script.
2) Have you disabled the ADMIN user as recommended on start up? If so, try logging in as your new admin user and use this user and password in the install_samples.bat command line instead
3) Is your admin user a member of the QualityManagerSample project? If not, add it. I'm not sure if this is required but it's worth doing if 1) and 2) don't work

Hope this helps,
Mark

Jay,

The AQXSP error refers to "external lab management integrations", see the RQM on-line help -> Reference -> Messages for Rational Quality Manager. I don't know if you need to worry about this or how to resolve it.

The messages stating, "Success: Asset Updated" means that the installation of the sample data may have succeeded. To check this, in the QualityManagerSample project, select Planning -> View Test Plans. You should see Classics Java 2, Classics Java and Classics Java Test Plan. If you don't, extend the ViewBuilder section in the Test Plans view and check that the "My test plans only" box is cleared. If you do see these, then check that items are also present in requirements, test cases and test scripts. If so, you should be able to continue with the tutorial.

Thanks for the quick info mark. I am able to see the data in all the sections. Hence ignored the error message.

I have posted lot of queries on reports, but never got response for my queries in this forum. Could you please answer them as well or request someone to answer them.

Cheers,
Jay.
