Custom Reporting - Installation error
I'm having problems with RQM Custom Reporting installation.
I'm trying to follow the 2.0.0.1 documentation, and yet I can't complete the installation.
I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise (64 bits) machine, with DB2 9.5 installed.
I'm facing the following error. After some minutes running the installation, I get an error:
In fact there is no such folder! I noticed that This file is located in another folder, but I can't get pass this step.
The log file mentioned on the error message doesn't exist.
I don't want to perform a manual install. And I tried the automatic install in two machines - both with the same error.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

I believe 64 bit windows is not supported for RCR. You must use 32 bit
windows. I had a colleague run into this problem.
I just tried to install RQM CR and it is generating exactmly the same error. The folder it's looking for doesn't exist and not does it seem the file.
Is there a way around this issue. Tried twice now with the same problem.
Also moved all the disk files to the local server.
This machine a completely new with no other software installed
Selected to automatically install WAS and manually install for MS SQL Server 2005.
How can we work out what is causing this problem?
This is supposed to be installed and ready for use on monday.
Any assistance appreciated

David is correct. RCR does not support Windows x64 platforms in the current release. The system requirements for RCR are inherited from Rational Insight; please reference this technote for the requirements: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27015833
Specifically, note that the table titled "Insight v1.0 Windows Platforms" specifies that the hardware must be x86-32.
Felipe, the issue you are seeing is a known issue with 64-bit machines, and is considered "working as designed".
You will need to use a 32-bit machine to deploy RCR.
Note: we have an enhancement request open against Insight to add 64-bit support in a future release, but it is not available in the current release. The ID is RATLC01529452.
I have updated the PMR you opened with the same information.
Out windows server is a 32 bit Windows 2003 and this error still occurrs for us. We also have a case open in which this is but one error we received during various combinations of installation options.
We found that the 64 bit Windows seemed to install and didn't get the error reported here but we found other issues with the inability to install the ODBC drivers.
I've watched this installation via monitoring the directory structures and Websphere profile creation. it creates the profile installs the app, starts and stops the server then fails when it trys to start it again. I ytink it's a timing issue in that it doesn't wait long enough and as soon as it thinks it's not responding it immediately starts to uninstall when in fact the log hasn't even shown that it has completed starting or started with errors.
