Unable to install RRC Server with silent install

Hello!

I have to install Rational Requirements Composer 2.0.0.1 in silent mode under
linux SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2 (x86_64).

I downloaded RRC_2.0.0.1_Server_Part1.zip and RRC_2.0.0.1_Server_Part2.zip and unpacked under same main catalog.


When I tried to install RRC Server under command line with command(/root/RRCS_SETUP/InstallerImage_linux/):
./install -input install.xml --launcher.ini silent-install.ini -log /tmp/rrc_inst_log -showVerboseProgress

Output is following:

It seems to me that IM profile file is empty.


I tried record new IM profile with command, but with any luck:
./IBMIM -record /root/RRCS_SETUP/InstallerImage_linux/install.xml -log /tmp/record_log.xml


How can I install RRCS in silent mode?

I have been able to install RRC 2.0 silently. I started by recording a new response file: ./IBMIM -record -log /tmp/record_log.xml

And ran through an installation via Installation Manager. Then I shut down IM, and my response file was populated . What did your response file look like?
I then installed via my response file:
$IBMIM_PATH/eclipse/IBMIM --launcher.ini $IBMIM_PATH/eclipse/silent-install.ini -input $RESPONSEFILE_NAME -log /var/tmp/rrc_install_log.xml

I downloaded the express-c for win, and run the script "server.start.bat", but the RTC server cannot be loaded, the dos window flashed and disappeared.


I change the content of the script "server\tomcat\bin\startup.bat,
so that the dos prompt windows keeps on the screen.

"call "%EXECUTABLE%" start %CMD_LINE_ARGS%"
to
call "%EXECUTABLE%" run %CMD_LINE_ARGS%

Then, on a dos prompt, I run "server.start.bat", the following shows:
"
JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library j9gc23(2): Failed to instantiate heap; 1500M requested.

Cannot create java virtual machine.
"

My laptop's OS is Windows xp sp2, and has 4G RAM.

Before I run "server.start.bat", the system show the free physical RAM 1866000k.


Help, pls.
