Version Tree for a file.
Hi.
I am new to RTC and i would like to know if RTC provides some feature which is similar to the concept of graphical representation of a version tree of file/directory elements in clearcase. Thanks in advance Sanfi |

Look at the left hand side of the "history" view on a versioned file,
and you'll see a simple version tree. If there are features you'd like to see beyond what you get from that, please post to this forum or submit a work item. Note that you cannot get this kind of tree for a directory (but there is a workitem requesting that). Cheers, Geoff sanfifaria wrote: Hi. |
Hi Geoff,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Regards Sanfi Look at the left hand side of the "history" view on a versioned file, Hi. |
A version tree for both files and directories with similar functionality to ClearCase's version tree would be very nice.
The current version tree is very primitive compared to what clearcase users are used to . Look at the left hand side of the "history" view on a versioned file, Hi. |

You would want to identify the particular features of the ClearCase
version tree that are important to you and then post them as an enhancement request work item (including a description of what use cases those features are needed for). Please post the work item ID to this forum, so that other folks that might be interested can subscribe and comment.
