DOORS Next RM: Why is only Import Artifact visible and not Create Artifact?

Hello,


In IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (RM), I am unable to create artifacts in a project area.


I can access the RM project, but inside the project the only option available is Import Artifact.

Options such as Create Artifact or Add Requirement are not visible.


I have Author and Administrator roles and a DOORS Next Contributor license.

Baselines are enabled, but full Configuration Management (streams) is not enabled.


What needs to be configured to enable manual artifact creation?

Roles are totally customizable. In the project area administration, go to the permissions tab and check
  1. The Everyone Role
  2. The Author Role
  3. The Administrator Role 
Check the permissions these roles have.
