Artifacts export issue from DOORS Next Gen

We recently set up IBM Jazza and I am doing some import / export tests to bring data in from our old DOORS 9.6.1 database. I have been able to import some test data, but when testing links and exporting data I am getting this error when exporting artifacts from within a module. I can't find any information on this error and the error itself doesn't give any detail. The artifact under export are simple text.

What can cause this error?

CRRRW7574E The artifacts were not exported. The server operation to export the artifacts failed.

Can you describe in more detail what you're doing to export data?

FYI DOORS Migration packages are specifically provided for migrating from DOORS to DOORS Next.

Hi Ian

I have tried to create a view and then do "Export View", as well as "Export Attribute" for single or multiple attributes from a DOORS Next module. I have tried for .csv and .xlsx formats.  I get the same issue with all of these methods. Do you think this could be a Jazz installation or configuration error? It is a new installation. I am able to do some of the other export related functions like Export to PDF or Generate Report.

For "Export Attribute" do you mean "Export Artifact"? Certainly sounds like something's wrong, probably best to create a support case.

Sorry for using the wrong term. I meant "Export View", the option available under the View menu. I was trying to export the view to see how links are formatted in the export so I could prep my data for import via link by attribute, but I have found another way to do it without this function.

After some more experimentation, I am able to use this feature to "Export View" to csv, xls and xlsx as long as I don't have the "contents" or "Primary Text" fields in the view. With either of these attributes included I get the Error 400 bad request issue in the original post.

Does this give any clue as to what the issue could be? Currently, the data in the "Primary Text" field is only populated with text since it is populated via .csv import.

Sounds strange. Can you export data that you created in DOORS Next OK?  - you should create a support case.

Can you export to xls, csv if you leave that column out?

Let us know if this was ever fixed. I'm curious as to what the issue was.
