I finally got my file checked-in. I don't know which action actually solved the problem but here is what I did: 1) Within Rational Business Developer, I opened the properties for the file (right-click on the file and select "Properties > jazz Source Control"). The MIME type and Line Delimiter were not set for the file so I set it to the same as the other files, which are "text/plain" with the Line Delimiter set to "Platform". 2) I restarted the Jazz server 3) I closed then reopened Rational Business Developer. I was then able to check in the file. Why, out of hundreds of files, this was the only one to not have these values set, I don't know - maybe gremlins.

I hope this helps.

We see the same problem with 3 files.

Was the cause of this error ever determined? I am having experiencing the same issue.

I'm also having a similar error. Need to finish this project, have a deadline. Look forward to a fast solution in this forum.

JAZZ DEVELOPER
I usually set the properties of the file not loaded as follows.

- Jazz Source Control / MIME type = application/unknown
- Jazz Source Control / Line Delimiter = None (binary)

I have my jazz server setup on win2k8 machine.

I'm trying to share an eclipse project into RTC. Of all the files i try to import, 5 of the files fail with error message

I checked the file properties and MIME type is set to "to be set" and delimiter "NoneBinary".

One of the posts asked to increase client time out. I tried setting client timeout to 600 seconds. But still the same issue.

This is now become a show stopper for me. Would really appreciate quick help. Please can anyone help.

Thanks
Arun
