The iFix 2 download works for me (both inside and outside the IBM firewall). It could have been a temporary server issue, or maybe a network problem. You might try a different browser/machine. Or, try an alternate download site. There are (at least) 3 places to get the update files:
1) http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24025480
2) https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/2.0.0.1iFix2
3) Open Installation Manager (on your RQM server), turn on "search service repositories" in File > Preferences > Repositories, and then use the Update button (this will actually be pulling the ZIP from the same location linked in #1 above).

Let us know if one of these works for you.

2 of the 3 places tell you NOT to search repositories, but rather to download the update manually. However Installation Manager DOES find the ifix. Why do the support and download pages tell you not to do it this way?

Good question.
I have noticed this too, and I assume that step 6
6. Click File >Preferences and then click Repositories. Make sure that Search service repositories during installation and updates is not selected.
Source: https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/2.0.0.1iFix2

is included only in the interest of forcing Installation Manager to use the local repository since you already spent the time in steps 3 & 4 to download and extract the ZIPs.

Can someone from development please confirm? Are there any negative consequences to allowing Installation Manager to directly download the update ZIPs instead of downloading them manually?
